Over a period of 12 months, the Metro Toronto Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic will create a web-based educational program in English and Chinese about the historical use of legislation in the discrimination against Chinese immigrants in Canada, including the Chinese Head Tax and Chinese Immigration Act, while at the same time recognizing the historical contributions made by members of the legal profession who challenged the discriminatory laws.
